We take a look behind the scenes of the student council, whose main task is to represent the interests of students. It is financed by the independent and non-profit organisation "ADF WiWi e.V." through the organisation of events.
The primary goal of the student council is to sustainably improve the degree programmes at the Faculty of Business Management and Economics based on the interests of the students. For example, the student council forms part of the appointment committee and the study grant committee. This ensures that it has an influence on decisions regarding the use of financial resources and the election of professors.

In view of the student council's exclusive responsibility for university policy matters, the independent and non-profit association "ADF WiWi e.V." was founded. The purpose of this association is to support the student council financially by organising events. The association currently has around 60 active members. The ADF and the student council work closely together to successfully achieve their common goals.
Here, you can find out more about the events organised by the ADF, including the "Professorenzapfen" at Sanderring, the WIWI BEER PONG tournament, and the Mulled Wine Evening.
Once a year, the University of Würzburg organises the "Professorenzapfen" event on the lawns of the " Neue Universität" at Sanderring. This unique event brings students and professors together to share beer, barbecues and, above all, a good time in a relaxed atmosphere.
Guests at the Professorenzapfens not only have a choice of soft drinks, but can also sample the excellent Würzburg beer served by the professors of the Faculty or Business Management and Economics.
The variety of food on offer is impressive - from traditional barbecue classics to a wide range of vegan options.
The highlight that gives the event its special appeal is a raffle ticket that students receive for every drink served.
This ticket opens the door to a wealth of potential prizes, ranging from small tokens of appreciation to once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. The prizes are generously sponsored by Würzburg companies.

In addition, the ADF organises the highly popular WIWI BEER PONG tournament every winter. Here, 24 teams compete in groups of four in an exciting competition. The festive highlight is the annual Mulled Wine Evening at the beginning of December, which is perfect for the Christmas season. In a cozy atmosphere and accompanied by atmospheric music, participants can enjoy inexpensive mulled wine.
The student council of the Faculty of Business Management and Economics is active on various channels. Probably the most important and most active channel for students is Instagram. Among other things, it is used to remind students of all important deadlines and upcoming events. You can also follow the ADF on Instagram.
